Set Up Preset Donation Values
Preset donation values give customers quick, one-tap options. Common presets: $10, $25, $50, $100, plus an Other option for custom amounts.
Configuring Preset Values
- In your Shopify admin, go to Apps > DonateMate.
- Select Manage Products
- Find the product you wish to update, and select Edit.
- Enter your desired values — and click the plus to add a value.
- Save your changes.
- In the theme editor, find your DonateMate widget, click to Show Presets
Tips for Choosing Presets
- Use 3–5 options — too many choices slow customers down.
- Include a range (e.g., $5, $10, $25, $50) for different budgets.
- Consider enabling the Other option so donors aren't limited to presets.
Where Presets Appear
Preset amounts display in the online store widget, checkout extension (Shopify Plus), and POS donation screen. Values are consistent across all channels.
